Meghan Grumling-McKenna is a recent graduate of the University of Virginia, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Women, Gender, and Sexuality. As an undergraduate, Meghan studied abroad in the Dominican Republic where she learned about advocating for adolescent girls and sustainable community development. She also studied abroad in Delhi, India, where she was awarded a grant to conduct research on sexual violence policies.
Meghan has held internships with The United Nations Foundation's Universal Access Project, Peace Corps, ActionAid India, the Maxine Platzer Lynn Women's Center, as well as the Charlottesville Legal Aid Justice Center. As an advocate for women's rights, reproductive justice, and civil rights, Meghan is excited for the opportunity to connect students and young women with career advice and opportunities to increase diversity and representation in foreign policy.
