Raised between Germany and Italy, Nina is currently living in London working as a Social Media Manager. She recently graduated from Bournemouth University in Multimedia Journalism where she wrote her dissertation on the representation of female political leaders in the tabloid media.
During her undergraduate studies, Nina co-founded the award winning university society Student Action for Refugees (STAR) Bournemouth. She advocated for Equal Access to Higher Education, a campaign committed to allowing asylum seekers to attend university by asking institutions to implement fee waivers and scholarships in order to counter current financial barriers.
As part of STAR she also volunteered at local community projects for refugees and set up fundraising events in aid of international human rights NGOs and charities welcoming asylum seekers to the UK. Her plan for the future is to pursue a career in Human Rights. Nina is excited about assisting the Women in Foreign Policy podcast and collectively work towards a world with more female political influence.
