Krithiga Narayanan is a Multiplatform Journalist based in India. She strongly believes in Journalism for social good and actively engages in producing news reports which contributes to a greater understanding of the world and the various problems that exist in it. Krithiga Narayanan is currently working as a Foreign Correspondent in India for Deutsche Welle, Germany's public state-owned international broadcaster. She has previously worked with the BBC World Service at the BBC Broadcasting House in London where she was a Radio/Television Presenter and Producer for the BBC Tamil Service. Krithiga is a graduate from City, University of London where she earned a Master's degree in International Journalism. At Women in Foreign Policy, Krithiga is a Podcast Editor and a Interviews/Newsletter Contributor.

Krithiga enjoys exploring the intersections between journalism and public policy, to gain a better understanding of a variety of social issues and the systemic solutions required to create a positive change in society. She specializes in investigative research, data, and solutions journalism. Krithiga is passionate about public policy, governance,democracy, law, gender equality, human rights, social justice, sustainable development, environment, politics, foreign policy, and international affairs.

Krithiga is an IMF Youth Fellowship 2020 Contest Winner. Her winning entry focused on solutions to increase the workforce participation rate of women in India post the pandemic. She also presented her winning report in a panel discussion with IMF’s First Deputy Managing Director Geoffrey Okamoto.

Krithiga has completed the Evidence-based Policy Research Methods Course at UNU-MERIT, the United Nation's Research Institute in Maastricht University, Netherlands. She is also currently a post-graduate public policy student at Takshashila Institution in India. She also has a Communications and New Media Executive Certificate from the National University of Singapore and a Leadership Executive Certificate from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta. She has an Engineering Bachelors in Information Technology. She is also a Young Leaders in Active Citizenship 'Policy in Action' Fellow where she produced a policy brief on labor reforms for a sitting member of the Indian Parliament. She is an Internews Earth Journalism Network Fellow, and Youth Ki Awaaz Climate Reporting Fellow. She also studies Public Policy at Takshashila Institution in India.

As a Journalist and policy analyst, Krithiga has a keen interest in foreign policy and is excited for the opportunity to connect with, be inspired by, and share with the world the stories of women working in foreign policy all around the world through the WiFP community.
